July 5, 2012

Indiewire recently profiled our clients, The Naked Faces production team of Andrew Barchilon and Kitao Sakurai, happily attributing the success of their latest project, Adult Swim's "The Eric Andre Show" to their eclectic creative backgrounds in film. While the program is technically a talk show, a June 27th interview with Indiewire was quick to point out a "scene of surreal, apocalyptic strangeness taking place on some alternate reality public access channel in which Savion Glover shows up to tap dance with a chicken taped to his face and Andre rushes at his band in order to beat-up the drummer while the other members play on." This is not your mother's late-night TV talk show.

Click below for more winning press on our clients, The Naked Faces, and what the New York Times has called their "anti-talk show."

The verdict is in and the Naked Faces' anti-talk show, The Eric Andre Show, is a hit with Adult Swim's viewers. It's also attracting winning press, as well as some big-name guests. Referred to as a "mock talk show" by the Naked Faces production team of our clients Andrew Barchilon and Kitao Sakurai, Geeknation calls the show a spin on what we're all used to seeing on late night television: a desk and a backdrop "thrashed into a million pieces, ... on fire with a mad man standing over them, out of breath, with an entire show still waiting to be done." We congratulate our clients, Andrew Barchilon, and Kitao Sakurai, on all of their success so far.

The Pass Sell Out New Year's Concert
December 31, 2010
The Pass performed to a sold out crowd at Louisville Headliners (capacity of 600) for New Year's Eve and Backseat Sandbar reviews the performance.

...to put an exclamation on the point of just how much fun this show was, the feather-wearing birdmen mixed in a great cover of Madonna's "Holiday", U2′s "New Year's Day", the traditional Auld Lang Syne and closed the set with an encore midnight cover of Huey Lewis' "Power of Love" while the beautiful and intense laser show danced across the faces of the New Year's kisses spread amongst the sea of bodies packed into Headliners.
